Terms of Service — BattleCreek Church Notification SMS/Texts

1. Program Description. BattleCreek Church uses SMS text messaging to communicate with our congregation across all campuses. This includes messages related to giving/donations, event registrations, group and ministry communications, prayer requests, care follow-up, general church announcements, and information you've specifically requested through one of our forms or sign-ups.
2. How You May Receive Texts. If BattleCreek Church has your mobile number on file, you may receive text messages from us related to church communications, events, and ministries. You can stop receiving these messages at any time — see "How to Opt Out" below.
3. How to Opt Out. You can cancel text messages at any time. Just text "STOP" to the number you received the message from. After you send "STOP," you will not receive further texts from BattleCreek Church. If you want to resume receiving messages, text "START" to the same number. NOTE: Opting out by texting “STOP” opts you out of ALL text messages from BattleCreek Church including account verification texts.
4. Help. If you're having trouble with text messaging from BattleCreek Church, contact us directly at helpdesk@battlecreekchurch.com.
5. Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply to any text messages sent to you from us or sent by you to us, depending on your mobile carrier plan. BattleCreek Church is not responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier related to these messages. Contact your carrier with questions about your text or data plan.
6. Carrier Liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Suported Carriers. Wireless carrier coverage is not guaranteed for all mobile devices and may be subject to change at any time.
8. No Sharing for Third-Party Marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or opt-in status with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information is used solely for BattleCreek Church communications as described here and in our Privacy Policy.
9. Privacy. For more information on how we collect, use, and protect your information, please review our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms. BattleCreek Church may update these SMS Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the text messaging program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
